The word of the day is: Client
CLIENT - a person or a company hiring you to represent their brand.
Each client is different and so are their needs.
Fashion Clients - are usually looking for girls who are unique, have a special look, tall and skinny. Fashion clients example : Chloe, Gucci, Tom Ford, Designers in general.
Commercial clients - they usually look for the "girl next door" to represent their brand. They want whoever is buying their product to relate to the model they choose. Example of commercial clients : H&M,Zara, Victoria Secret, Banana Republic,Gap etc
The client will always, but always ( can’t stress this enough ) contact the agency if they are interested in booking you!
If you are signed with an agency or even if you just have a mutual agreement with one ( no actual contract ), if a possible client approaches you on the street I advise you to give them your agency's business card or your composite card. It is the professional way to do business and also a much safer way to interact.
Love,
Iulia
