Polaroids

Polaroids - pictures in which the model is not wearing makeup and is dressed in simple curve fitting clothes ( usually a black tank and jeans* ) always wearing heels, preferably white wall behind and simple posing...the model is supposed to be more of a white canvas !

*When you've been around for a while clients get to know you so the way you dress while taking your polas can change ( you can be more creative with your outfit as long as it shows your body )

These pictures are called Polaroids because bookers used to take them with a Polaroid camera.

Polaroids are also called digitals as the Polaroid camera has been replaced by the digital camera. Polaroids and digitals are the exact same thing.

Usually when looking for an agency, before they will have you come in they will ask for some Polaroids/digitals...well my darlings now you know what a Polaroid is...

I have attached some of my Polaroids to show you some examples... No crazy poses just front, both profiles and back...head shot ... Under no circumstances you will send duck face pictures, pictures from your prom,party,full makeup face, pictures with boyfriends etc you get the point !

 You may also be asked to send Polaroids in your bathing suit...same thing applies white background heels and simple posing !
